Igweshi Augustine Mentors Youth at Youth Empowered

Igweshi Augustine which is the founder and executive director of the Center for Peace Advocacy and Sustainable Development was among those selected to mentor 500 youths during the #YouthEmpoweredNG organized by Nigeria bottling company NBC held from 8th to 10th October, 2019 at Bolton White Hotel Abuja... The selection of the mentors was base on competence, track record of achievement in youth development as well external resource and possession of the knowledge, experience and passion for impacting young people from all indications Igweshi Augustine have established a niche in advancing youth development in the country. Having been among those selected to mentor young people shows how he has been able to contribute his quarter in youth development among many others of his work on peace, education and youth entrepreneurship.

The program had youth from the different part the federal capital territory FCT in attendence as participants.Each of the mentors was assigned 20 youths for mentorship on self development, leadership, business skills, career path, life purpose and goal setting. During the event Igweshi Augustine told Compass time media on how engaging it was mentoring young people which he described as future of the country...

He expressed satisfaction as he described the youth great entrepreneur with wonderf ideas which when harness will make Nigeria the china of Africa. He also told compass time media that NBC designed the program to empowered 500,000 thousands unemployed young people between the age of 18 to 30 years across the country by 2020 to build life skills, business skills and long lasting networks to transition to meaningful employment. The key components of the program is mentoring. He thank the NBC for putting up such a wonderful program
