Kaduna Legislator applauds Constituent’s support throughout twelve years service

Mr. Labari Tela, former Member (PDP-Jema’a) at the Kaduna State House of Assembly (KDSHA) has applauded the support he enjoyed from members of his Constituency throughout his 12 years service as a Legislator

Compass Times reports that Members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly (KDSHA) had a veladictory session Friday, June 7, 2019 to mark the end of another legislative calendar that began in 2015.

It would also be recalled that Mr. Labari Tela who was elected in 2007 under the platform of the PDP had served three consecutive terms before he voluntarily stepped aside before the 2019 elections to give an opportunity to another person to take run for the position.

The Lawmaker who who explained this on Monday in an interview noted that the successes he recorded throughout his 12 years in legislature was made possible by the unanimous and relentless support he received from his constituents.

“As a representative of the people, my job was made easier due to my constant touch with constituent members especially at the grassroot.

“The projects accomplished including the bills initiated are those that have direct bearing on the well-being of the people knowing fully that democracy is people-driven,” he said.
The Legislator however expressed confidence in the newly elected Member, Hon. Ali Kalat with the hope that the strides recorded in the past years would be sustained.

He enjoined members of Jema’a Constituency to rally round their representatives both at the State and National levels by maintaining constant interaction that would provide room for synergy that would bring about meaningful development to the area.
